OverDose is in constant development and we are always open to people who like to join up with a friendly, personal and highly dedicated team.
Since OverDose is aimed to be at a semi-pro quality, we need to put higher demands on ourselves in a free, unpaid way. Therefore if you are interested in working with Team Blur Games on OverDose and money at this stage isn’t a huge concern, we would love for you to send us some examples of your past work as well the position you are interested in filling.
Team Blur Games is currently looking for the following:
Coders (Game) – Coders must be experienced in game logic as we are currently finalising our renderer and are looking towards the main game.
Coders (Tools) – We are currently looking for an experienced coder to work on our current toolset, most notable ODRadiant.
Modellers (Weapons) – OverDose is a very high quality game and as such ALL ingame models are based on a high polygon mesh/sculpt. If you have experience working with high polygon modelling we would love to hear from you. NOTE: High poly modelling is a requirement to create assets at the quality we are working at. Be sure to pimp up some of your previous high poly models aswell.
Modellers (Characters) – OverDose is a very high quality game and as such ALL ingame models are based on a high polygon mesh/sculpt. Mappers – OverDose used a modified Doom 3 format for mapping and as such experience with Quake/Doom/Wolfenstein level editing is going to be a huge advantage. Our levels are made with basic brush work and caulk hulls with real detail coming from modelling. Its still possible to make maps in the old Doom 3/Quake 4 ways however, it depends on the detail you can produce. Of course, detail takes a side line to the actual flow of a ma, so even if you don’t feel 100% like you could achieve the detail we require don’t worry as our team will likely help and work alongside you.
